The Alquor Foundation Announces Nationwide 'Craft & Community' Grant Program

The Alquor Foundation, a leader in fostering a thriving and responsible spirits industry, today announced the launch of its new nationwide ‘Craft & Community’ grant program. This initiative will provide financial and educational resources to independent distilleries, craft cocktail bars, and emerging beverage professionals who demonstrate a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community engagement. The program’s first grants are set to be awarded in early 2025.

The new program is a core component of the Foundation’s mission to support the human element of the industry, from the field to the glass. It aims to boost small-batch producers and local establishments, fostering the creative spirit and responsible business practices that are vital to the industry’s future.

“For years, our work has focused on the people who make this industry so special,” said Amelia Gray, Executive Director of The Alquor Foundation. “With the ‘Craft & Community’ grant, we are able to provide tangible support to the talented men and women who are defining the next era of spirits. This is about investing directly in the passion and creativity that drives our entire industry forward.”

“The Alquor Foundation has always been a champion for our craft,” said Samuel Stone, a recipient of an inaugural grant. “This grant will not only help us expand our operations but also connect us with a network of like-minded professionals who are all working towards a more innovative and responsible future.”
