Quality Control Specialist
We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist with direct experience in the liquor or spirits industry. In this role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring product quality, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining the highest standards across our production process. You’ll collaborate with production, operations, and compliance teams to safeguard product integrity from raw materials through final bottling. This position is fully onsite at our facility, requiring a hands-on approach to quality assurance.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor sanitation, safety, and quality practices across production lines.
- Maintain detailed records of quality results, corrective actions, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations governing spirits production and labeling.
- Support audits, inspections, and certification processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of quality control experience in the liquor, brewing, or food & beverage industry.
- Knowledge of TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) regulations and industry compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product integrity.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a production-floor environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with sensory evaluation and tasting panels.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or ISO quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
